We had a lovely weekend visit to Emily and Mike where we were very well fed. Mike took us all to Rivington Pike on Saturday afternoon. It was a lovely walk but very windy. We went back to their house where Mike prepared mushrooms stuffed with stilton and wrapped in parma ham, followed by home made lasagne with salad and garlic bread and finally french lemon tart. On Sunday we had cream of celery soup for starters, followed by roast lamb with roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and green beans. Then fresh fruit salad for desert. We were very well fed in their lovely home.
